Squigglefly Challenge 123

The challenge given at Squigglefly this week (challenge 123) is "not to use any patterned/designer papers."  So, what does one do without any DP?  Well, as my husband learned after 22 years in the Army - "improvise and overcome."  Well, it wasn't quite that drastic - really!  I just used an EF, a couple of dies and some lace - no hidden tactics here.  And, this digi is so very adorable - I loved it as soon as I eyed it on Squigglefly - especially since she is holding a kitty.

Card Recipe:

Stamp:  Angel Maisy digi by Diane Carubia for Squigglefly Stamps
Paper:  Gina K Luxury 120 and SU CS
Ink:  Copics:  Halo for Maisy and Kitty:  Y15, 11; Wings:  Y02, 00, 000, 0000; Skin:  E21, 00, 000, R30; Kitty: W3, 1, R30; Hair:  E55, 53, 51 and 50; Dress:  YG09, 07, 05, 03
Accessories:  Lace from Really Reasonable Ribbon; Nesties scalloped circle die and circle die; SU oval die and scalloped oval die

  1. Yo go girl- love how you used the textured background- it shades and looks like stripes in your photo. The gown is absolutely my favorite part of your card. AMAZING! Thanks for joining the Squigglefly challenge this week.
